Loubna Haikal
Loubna was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and migrated to Australia with her family
at the age of fourteen. She wrote and read a short story for ABC radio called
'My Mother the Carmelite'. In 2000, Loubna won a Varuna Writers' Fellowship which
allowed her to work on Seducing Mr Maclean, her first novel.
Michelle Hamer
Michelle Hamer is the mother of four children, all born by caesarean. She is a journalist and the author of four books, including How It Feels, published by New Holland. Michelle was an editor at The Age newspaper and has written for dozens of magazines and newspapers around the country.

Richard Harland

Beverley Harper
Beverley has published eight books, all of which have been inspired by her twenty

Tania Hayes
Tania Hayes lives on the South Coast of New South Wales and became a carer at twenty-two when her fiancé Warren, was diagnosed with a life threatening brain tumour. Despite the doctor’s suggestion for Warren to be put in a nursing home, Tania decided to take Warren home and became his fulltime carer. Even though Warren is still fully dependant on Tania twenty-four hours a day and lives a life in a wheelchair, they have rebuilt their lives, finally getting married and now have a beautiful son named Josh.

Ian has worked as a production executive on The Daily Telegraph, various
publications and in the direct marketing industry. Since 1989 his short stories

Amanda Holohan

Anne Infante
Anne was born in Sydney Australia, and raised in Papua New Guinea. She has performed
in, and co-written folk programs for ABC radio, and has recorded three albums
of her own songs. Anne began writing seriously in 1987 and has had five crime
novels published. Escape from the Past is her first mainstream novel.
Cecilia Inglis
Cecilia Inglis grew up in an Irish Catholic family in Newcastle, and lived as
a Sister of Mercy in NSW for 30 years from the age of 17. When she left the Order
and moved to Sydney she eventually met and married Bruce Inglis. She is now happily
wife, step-mother, and grandmother. Cecilia is her first book.
Ian Irvine
Ian is an environmental scientist and an expert in marine pollution. He has published nine fantasy novels, all bestsellers in Australia and the UK.
