Anne was born in Sydney Australia, and raised in Papua New Guinea. She has performed in, and co-written folk programs for ABC radio, and has recorded three albums of her own songs. Anne began writing seriously in 1987 and has had five crime novels published. Escape from the Past is her first mainstream novel.
